“Law came in, to increase the trespass; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.“
– Romans 5:20-21
Live the Faith! Tip of the Week:
The temptation toward despair and loneliness can sometimes get the best of us, especially when we find ourselves giving in to habitual sin or neglecting prayer. We must always remember in these times that we are not alone and that where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more.
When you feel tempted toward despair and loneliness, do not give in. Instead, look to the many friends and patrons you have within the Church. Don’t hesitate to invoke Mary, St. Joseph, the angels, the rest of the communion of Saints, and of course our Lord to secure for you the grace necessary to overcome that temptation.
