“‘In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.’ Thomas said to him, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also; henceforth you know him and have seen him.’”
– John 14:2-7
Live the Faith! Tip of the Week:
St. Paul of the Cross said, “Often contemplate heaven, and fervently exclaim: ‘What a beautiful abode there is above! It is destined for us!’” Take some time this week in prayer to consider the place that God has prepared in His merciful love for you to live forever, and re-commit to following Christ, who goes before us and is truly the way to perfect eternal happiness.
Lord, give us the grace to fix our eyes on you, in your divine glory, so that, in an overflow of joy, we may proclaim the good news of salvation to others here on earth.
